In ancient times the Goddess was the primary divinity. Archeology shows Her ruling both physical and spiritual realms. Although this was sometimes shared with a husband, son or lover, it was Her ability to bring forth life that sustained the collective mind of our ancient relatives. Around the second century B.C. something occurred to cause a shift in the gender of the divinity in the collective mind. There are many theories as to what caused this shift. The shift was slow, taking many centuries to suppress the Goddess. Eventually the aspects of the Divine Feminine were distorted, misinterpreted, forgotten or driven into secrecy.

We live in a time of another shift. The Divine Feminine is reemerging. Many factors play into the why of this shift. The Journey of the Feminine unveils this reemergence through the collective journey of all women who have walked this earth. It’s natural flow of Maiden, Mother, Queen and Crone is a map of maturity not only in the physical realm but in the psychological and spiritual realms as well. This map is a tool of transformation and shifting consciousness, a guide for this life’s journey.
The Priestess uses the flow of the Goddess Quartet to tune her awareness and access her inherent wisdom. (Inherent wisdom is the wisdom that allows the seed, in proper conditions, to become a flower. The wisom of who you are and who you can become is your inherent wisdom. It is inside you. Your spirit knows the conditions you need to blossom.) The Priestess learns the qualities of each goddess quarter. She uses them to help her explore the filters through which she views the Divine Feminine. Filters she has acquired through tradition, culture, society and myth. She learns to interpret her inherent wisdom and know her inherent worth. She discovers that there is no one way of being in the world, she learns to trust her guidance to tell her what is right for her. She matures.
